Ha Gian is a Vietnamese province located in the extreme northeast, close to the border with China. Many people in Hà Giang belong to various ethnic minorities. Aside from the Kinh, who from the 10% of the total population of the province, there are 22 ethnic minorities, mainly the H’Mông, Tài, Dao, Nùng and Lô Lô. There are also two rare ethnic groups, the Pupeo and the Phula, with a population of less them 400 each.
